A remodel of an existing residence, focusing on enlarging the feeling of the main living spaces. The modest utilization of walls to divide public and private use areas allows for open volumes and loft-like spaces.  The metal-clad fireplace roots itself as a stabilizing structural element while creating visual interest in the living space.  Long, clean lines and extensive glazing combine with the wood and metal elements to create an elegant, simple space that expands past its actual walls.
